I think both Bush and Kerry lack the will to succeed in Iraq (thank God, success would be a disaster). Kerry I expect to be a little more rational about things, but not so rational as Nader would have been. Still it's Kerry or Bush, and Kerry is infinitely better than Bush. To succeed in the mission, as originally planned, would be a neverending nightmare for us, in addition to costing the lives of thousands of troops and tens of thousands of Iraqis. We are in the process bailing out. It is the only acceptable outcome ... to bail out and start fresh.
