Donors Pledge $1 Billion to Haiti

At a global donors conference, to help to help the country promote democracy and economic recovery. USA pledged $120 million. Donors and Haitian officials claim that they've learned from past mistakes. Oxfam, a Euroleftist relief agency, claims that USA was stingy especially compared to Canada's $147 million pledge.

Ahem, did Oxfam include our peacekeeping costs? Our other obligations worldwide, which exceed Canada? And why do leftists believe that foreigners have a God-given right to U.S. taxpayer money anyway? How about the Caribbean region handling its own affairs?
