The problem with 3000 dead on 9/11 is Iraq with Saddam had nothing to do with this. Now, do you think that another thousand dead American soldiers and much higher number of injured for rest of their lifetime will make a difference for the families of the victims of 9/11? It wasn't Bin Laden who started the conflict. He was a strong supporter of US, influential in convincing Muslim world that's OK for American troops to stay TEMPORARY!!!on sacred for Islam Saudi soil in the first war with Iraq. Only after Americans change the status from temporary to PERMAMENT he went against US targets. Still the most of the world had deep sorrow for the victims and ordinary people including myself lighted up the candles and lay down the flowers in front of US Embassies and consulates. I don't think I would do that now, and so the rest of the ordinary people of the world in the case 9/11 repeat. US is very isolated in the hearts of the world population now. Just take a look on statistics when it comes to number of real tourist coming to the US now and compare it with the numbers prior to the war with Iraq.
