<<<Berger has confessed to a criminal act. He claims his motives are pure. So do most criminals.>>>

He has confessed to being careless and taken some copies of classified documents that he should not have.

This situation has been under review since October of last year. When he had asked the Justice Department what was going on, he was told that perhaps there would be no charges.

If this is not the case, Berger should be and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

If what he says is true, then there has also been another serious crime committed - perhaps even more serious than the crime Berger committed. And that is, some one leaked this story two days before the 911 committee was to release their report to obfuscate real serious national security issues. Life and death issues.

In any case, what happened is a serious matter. Either Sandy Berger is hiding evidence that is useful in National Security matters, or someone is trying to play politics and trying to obfuscate serious national security issues.

I hope we can get to the bottom of this issue. One way or the other.
