"I am sorry "Historical Creeds" are the works of men's hands."

So are the Scriptures! The Scriptures were written by men as they were inspired by the Holy Spirit. These same men also, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, DETERMINED IN COUNCIL which of the writings of the early Church Fathers were to be admitted to the canon of Scriptures. The New Testament we have today was determined by a council of MEN who debated, discussed and argued over which should be considered The Scriptures. Jesus had promised the Apostles and disciples--the Church leaders--that they would always have the Holy Spirit to lead them in the Church. This is why these men were able to authoritatively declare the canon of scripture. Today all trinitarian Christians accept that these men had the anointing of the Holy Spirit promised by Jesus.

These same Church leaders also wrote the Apostolic creed in council and under the inspiration of the same Holy Spirit. The creed was used even before the scriptures were canonized. So why shouldn't you accept the creeds of the early Church?
