Have you ever heard Gergen have an unkind word for anyone? A real gentleman. One of the reasons he has served in both Democratic and Republican administrations. Very curious that Berger neglected to disclose the "problem" to the Kerry organization. Obviously, in deep denial. As for the timing of the disclosure, I would not be surprised that it was leaked from the Berger camp. The timing of the leak would make it seem like it came administration. He knew that news of the investigation would eventually come out. Had he waited, it would have been more damaging to Kerry. Has the Kerry camp cut its ties to Joe Wilson, that congenital liar, yet?
