The new economy and private coporations.

Private corporations include the "Mom and Pop" operations where sweat equity and low pay keeps the company going. Public corporations with WAll street analysts quidance is prospering. Some large private corporations and venture capital assisted corporations are already going public. This changes the new economy from 1929 where there was no productivity and borrowed money fueled the stock market. 1929 caused a dislocation in the economy, banks closed and jobs were non- existant for 10 more years. Supply side economy ruled until 1992.

Invetment money now comes into Wall street and gets placed in new equity or bonds. Market index may go up with earnings potential which is solid foundation for stock valuation.

"Mom and Pop" operation has to be merged or acquired by public corporations, just like many banks consolidating. It may be painful, but in the long run, with continued job growth, sweat equity will get payoffs larger than before.
