deltathree Announces Agreement With Verizon to Support New VoIP Service
NEW YORK, July 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- deltathree, Inc. , a leading provider of SIP-based VoIP solutions for service providers and consumers worldwide, today announced an agreement with Verizon Communications to provide VoIP consulting, management and integration services for Verizon's new VoiceWing consumer Voice over IP (VoIP) service, which was launched earlier today (see verizon.com for details).

Verizon VoiceWing allows consumers to make unlimited local and long-distance phone calls within the United States and certain territories and to benefit from low per-minute international calling rates. Additionally, Verizon VoiceWing provides customers not only traditional services such as voice mail, caller ID and call waiting, but also advanced features that give them unprecedented control of their communications by accessing a special Web page called the Personal Account Manager.
Through the agreement announced today, deltathree is providing a suite of back office integration and management services including: account sign-up, billing, account management, credit card processing and fraud management, as well as VoIP telephony features as they relate to the end user experience. deltathree will also provide its Customer Service Interface (CSI) for utilization in supporting the customer service function.
