Not quite the liberal POV, but amazing what a day off produces...
1. Bush is Stupid: Ok, let us agree then that he was not better than a C+ student (even with private tutors by his side).
2. Bush Ruined the Legacy of the Clinton Economy: 9/11 might have proved that the world is not be ready for a global economy (i.e. Clinton admin), but the Bush administration has demonstrated that America is not even willing to give it a try.
3. Bush Tax Cuts Caused the Deficit: What? Huh? You see we are one big global economy now. When our President pisses off the rest of the world, they stop buying our goods, and give their best deals to someone else. It is just not sexy to be an American today, and the rest of the world has taken their money elsewhere. So, the Bush deficit spending keeps a subdued economy alive, and the tax cuts are an attempt to compensate us citizens until we find a new direction (please vote).
4. Bush is Not a Good Leader: He kicks a@@… but then so do playground bullies. Are you one of those kids that stood protected, one-step behind the bully? Try facing him, and stand up to him, it is easier than you may think.
5. Bush Lied About WMDs: Maybe 10 years worth of visits by U.N. Weapons Inspectors actually worked? Wondering: If most of the 9/11 saboteurs were from Saudi Arabia, why isn’t that country mentioned as a member of the “Axis of Evil?”
6. Bush is a Big Spender: “Boy do I agree with that.” Bravo.
7. Bush is a Divider: Sorry, but it was difficult to understand your connection to the point.
8. Bush Tax Cuts are for the Top 1%: Well you see, 99% of all wealth is generated in the top 1% of earners. This is really not much to get excited about. We should all someday hope to be in the top 1%, even many liberals hold this view. Imagine the influence we could have over general voters. Heck, Bush was born into it and Kerry married into it; we just vote on it.
9. Bush is the Anti Black: Hey, isn’t that Michael Jackson’s duty.
10. Bush Wants to Trash the Environment: Well, at least not in his neighborhood.
11. Bush Tolerates Corporate Corruption: With Dick Cheney as the poster boy, it is hard to think otherwise.
12. Al Gore Won the Election: Hmmm… Did I miss something? President Gore? Although you have to admit, it was oh so close, and the suspicious Florida connection makes for good fiction. Do you know that the Manchurian Candidate and the Bourne Supremacy will be at theaters soon?

As a Christian, I believe in a man, the son of God and that we as human beings are connected to something greater than our world. Just the same as President Bush,
As a Christian, I have realized that Jesus changed the world without presenting an army, or threatening with death, the elimination of others.
As a Christian, I understand that the brutality of the Crusades has led to generations of converted believers in Christ.
As a Christian, I believe in peaceful resolution.
As a Christian, I believe the book Revelations.
As a Christian, I understand that a man will present himself, as our savior, without an army, and establish a new world, after much destruction.
As a Christian, I do not believe that I am on then side of “the good” if my intent is to invoke Revelations. God will, without a doubt, return in an appropriate time.
As a Republican, and a Christian, I cannot vote to re-elect President Bush. The selection of Cheney and Powell as his running mates the first time around should have been the dead give-away’s. This time I know the Bush administration will be unhappy without a war. (Come on America, we do not need to be the bullies of the world.)
Thus, as a Republican, I cannot, and will not support the re-election of President George W. Bush. |
