When, realistically, will the royalties start to diminish?

As a long term share holder, this is my main concern. I hope there is an informative discussion that takes place here well before core patents expire.

1. When does this happen

2. Outcome for future earnings.

3. Effect on current and future licenses

4. Effect on returns to shareholders

Will QUALCOMM be broken up or sold before core patents expire, or will newer and future patents keep QUALCOMM business secure from a watering down of current value

Just a few questions. I'm sure others will arise as we get closer to crucial expiration dates.
