FWIW, my understanding was that the Koreans were due to renegotiate their licenses around 2008...about the time some of the core patents run out. Their hope is to negotiate lower royalties at that time. But if Q keeps raising the bar for data rate and level of integration, all of that may turn out to be moot.

Got to keep that R&D engine cranking.
