He handled the situation as he should have----watch the documentary on this. Could he have stopped WTC from burning in those 7 minutes----get real!!! No he couldn't have .. but that's not the point .. It was the perception of a head of state that had no idea of what was going on .. Instead of hiding at various "secure" facilities around the country he should have insisted that he be flown back to Wash DC ASAP .. I'll never forget Rudy G. large and in charge at ground zero in NYC while our president was being moved from one "undisclosed location" to another .. Not a very good image to be sending to the country and the rest of the world at that moment in time .. JMHO Triffin ..
