The War on Terror is a farce .......... .......... The increase in domestic security has been virtually nil. The incompetence of the FBI and Justice Department and their stupid turf wars are legendary. Almost all "employees" of both outfits are primarily concerned about their pension plans. The only thing of substance the government has done is pour over $100 billion into attacking the wrong country. That it was the wrong country was obvious from the get-go to everyone without bias or an ax to grind. The GOP thinks it can stay in power by maintaining a constant fear level in this country. The media totally buys into it. About 75% of the reporting on CNN is about the purported "war on terror." Are we going to just sit around here and wonder when al Qaeda is going to drop the other foot on our mainland? It's been almost three years since the World Trade Center attack. Is the color still "yellow" today? Is that Department of Homeland Security a joke, or what? /john
