Sure. So what? You'd rather have dueling commission reports?

Whenever there is a consensus report, the less moderate will continue to advance their preferred version. They're free to do so. Whatever they do, though, will be officially non-mainstream, adding color and texture but not undermining. Seems to me like a Good Thing.
