An anecdotal observation.

Each day when the Fed reports, the data presents Propositions Submitted (how much banks wanted to borrow) and Propositions Accepted (how much the Fed decided to lend).

I do not track this data. Too time consuming.

But I do observe it every day.

It seems to me we have been seeing a shift.

Whereas the usual ratio of Submitted to Accepted has often been something like
$18 billion Submitted with $8 billion Accepted,
recently there have been more days like today -

$ 46 billion Submitted versus $ 1.75 billion Accepted.

Looks like something has changed.
