Linda had every right to say what she said and her employer had every right to react the way he did. Some people were repulsed by Linda's behavior, some were upset by the employer's. However, each behaved within their right to do so.

Linda violated the old standard..."Don't forget to dance with the one who brung ya."

The employer hired the acts on the basis of it being a light and nastalgic entertainment program and clearly felt Linda violated that...and then acted like a brute.

Disclaimer: I've been in love with Linda for many years and have followed her through her political activism as well.
