Our last flight out of our little small town airport they had 2 old people damn near stripped. In fact the older lady finally laid on the floor. Screener said what are you doing and she said I've told you repeatedly I can't stand without my walker and you keep me here standing. I was not the only one that was quite pissed. It's absurd. Yet I got on a plane in LV with one scary looking leather clad dood that walked right on through.

The whole system is absurd without profiling IMO.
