I think you have taken my original post and turned it into something that I did not think or imply.

In my opinion it would not have hurt to have a few regular citizens......non-politicians....sit in on the commission. I don't know who they would have been, but when you have a commission made up entirely of ex-WDC politicians it's akin to having that old fox watch the chicken coop. I haven't read the entire report so I can't say, but if there isn't any reference made that includes the failing of congress to follow up on any past Intelligence committee recommendations it should have.

I never suggested there be two 9/11 committees.

Of course, the issue is moot now.
