the September 11 commission glossed over one of the most important aspects of the attack: All 19 of the hijackers entered the United States on legal visas, even though at least 15 of them didn't qualify under the law.

The report is a coverup of sorts. At best it is a whitewash. It places blame nowhere and everywhere.
I don't like post-traumatic searches for the guilty because usually the innocent get punished, but it seems to me they could at least provide a detailed report on responsibilities.
The recommendation to establish an Intel czar will only add another layer to the already very top heavy system, but it also gives congress somebody to blame next time.

We have finally got ourselves completely bogged down. Now everyone will be afraid to use initiative.
