Docomo has given some pretty interesting details for their roadmap over the next decade or so. They are looking at a possible two step evolution from HSDPA....the first continues to use a DS-CDMA air interface while the second (Super 3G) could use an OFCDM air interface for the downlink. babelfish.altavista.com There are more slides available here (including a possible timeline). babelfish.altavista.com Any thoughts? Also....Qualcomm gave a presentation in which they seemed to talk quite a bit about 3G+LAN.
