Now, almost a decade later, Fox News Channel has left both CNN and MSNBC in the dust. There's no guarantee that this is permanent, of course. But it certainly has the left in a panic. They hated it that American conservatism had any voice at all, back when it was confined to a few radio talk shows--remember how everybody wanted to blame Rush Limbaugh and other conservative talk-radio hosts for the Oklahoma City bombing?

The left is not in a panic over Fox. I don't feel threatened by Fox News. I am disgusted by it.....and embarrassed when foreigners watch it and ask if this is the way America thinks.

FOX news people tend to be unprofessional......sometimes coarse. Their conservative zeal is so prominent they might as well tattoo it to their foreheads. The women are all blond and the men are way too hopped on testosterone.

The only reason anyone is attacking FOX as this point is because their outright lying has become too offensive. They are not fair and balance and they are way too much a mouthpiece for the WH. And their attacks on others are becoming too much like an annoying mosquito that you to swat.

The right was overdue for a news channel that more reflected their POV. That is very clear and accounts for Fox's meteoritic success. However, if this is the best the right can do, then their standards are low indeed.
