Bluetorch Inc. Amends Sales and Backlog Figures 7/23/2004 4:04:49 PM
LOS ANGELES, Jul 23, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via Comtex/ -- Bluetorch Inc. (BTOR), announced today that for its first quarter ending March 31, 2004, its subsidiaries shipped product to a total of three retailers totaling $1,845.00 in net sales and that the company had no backlog moving into the 3rd quarter beginning July 1, 2004. As a result of this event, the company announced that Stewart Kawamura, National Sales Manager, was terminated. In an effort to revamp the sales effort as it relates to Airwalk, the company announced on July 14, 2004 that it had hired Mark Connors as President of Total Sports Distribution Inc. (Airwalk apparel and TSABrand apparel).
Bluetorch Inc. also confirmed that the shareholders meeting has been re-scheduled and will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Norwalk, CA at 3:00 PM on August 20, 2004.
