If the "Swift Boat Veterans For Truth" wants to present themselves as apolitical, then they better not have so many with overt political ties. It makes them too easy to dismiss. And rightly so.

As far as Kerry's credibility problems with respect to his voting record, that is a different issue. That is certainly something he has to stand up to. But that in no way, shape or form then gives credibility to a group that claims to apolitical when they really aren't. It very well may be true that many of their members are apolitical, but some of the more prominent people connected with it aren't. And that is a fact.
