Was it also a good thing when GDP growth went negative in the 3rd quarter of 2000? Do you cheer Presidents who leave messes behind for their successors to clean up? You must really love Herbert Hoover then, right?

After an 8 year econ. expansion.......the longest since WW II........I would say Clinton did damn good. And as sure as my name is Mr. Wonderful, Mr. Bush didn't learn squat from Clinton.

Not only are we in a war quagmire in Iraq, we are in an econ. quagmire at home. Thanks for the memories!
