Remember how vociferously the ask-yourself-why-they-hate-us crowd opposed the war in Afghanistan, contrary to what they are saying now.

My recollection is that there was negligible opposition to Afghanistan.

Once Bush decided to act, do you really think that anything he said could have changed any minds?

Still think it was more 'tude than actions.
