Kerry's plan to get out of Iraq is that by replacing Bush and creating a new clean slate with our allies, we can get them to act positively, including countries like Turkey which dissed the Bushies, including Bush's many enemies within the Un and many non-friends within NATO. It is Bush not America which has been the problem.

To do this however, the US will have to quit guaranteeing companies like Halliburton exclusive access to huge contracts in Iraq and actually have to not be servcing US corporate interests/Bush campaign supporters.

Already however, Bush has followed Kerry's lead (one year late but better late than never) in terms of reaching out to the international community and pulling back from a visible US occupation. Make no mistake though, Bush got us into this mess and it will take time to get us out. Kerry will not abandon Iraq, but he will move more quickly and effectively than Bush to get us out. Also Kerry will save us maybe 100 billion over the years by bringing in foreign help. The only losers will be the Halliburtons of the world, which no longer deserve our respect anyway.
