Ted, sorry I missed your point. But when did Bush say the "haves and the have mores" are his base? When he was speaking at a fundraiser. He said to the people who were who were there. "You are my base: the haves....."and the have mores". Then he laughed. It was a very stupid remark to make in public......even at a private fundraiser. Of course, we know Bush is not the sharpest tool in the shed. I believe the clip is in MM's film. And I am surprised that Kerry is not using it. ted
