Jack Doerr , like Timbo and George is one of the three who will gather on the DCI battlefield and will also make his last post on July 25, 2002. Jack will make a post to George at 12:56AM, just a shy half hour before Tim Luke will make his last post. There are a few facts you can glean by reading the messages left by Jack Doerr. He purchased DCI for his grandchildren, he accepted his loss somewhere along the line, he knew George fairly well and in one message mentions that George can just go sell another house, he doesn't have that option being retired. He will tell George that he is still watching the battlefield and he takes the time to thank George for asking if anyone is still watching, Jack may still be watching. I can't tell you what is true, I can only tell you what I know. The most valuable commodity that any investor has isn't capital, it is trust. You can lose your money to thieves and rebound to trade again, when you lose your trust it is more than the balance sheet that is affected. This same lesson will be learned again and again in this land, those who are taught this lesson often leave and never return, it is a painful and humiliating experience.
