I thought Ed Brown's comments on the Wall Street Week program to which you referred were not too different from Roger's comments on this thread. Ed talked about the market as being "finely balanced" and a "teeter-totter that could go either way." The only difference is that Ed thinks the move will be up and Roger has bet that the move will be down. But both seem to have the sense that we are confronted with a highly volatile situation that is likely to move dramatically in one way or the other.
