Because I challenged your assessment of the Aladdin, this makes me a "rightie".

"So frankly, I was not impressed with your evaluation nor did your evaluation undermine my original opinion of the hotel.

I didn't make an assessment, I simply stated that the place was brand new...pretty soon to be in the "dump" category. And you based this on what you saw when you walked by!! Why do I get the sneaky suspicion that the place would be OK by you if Ronstadt hadn't been pitched.

You said the place was a "dump", I simply disagreed. It's a pretty nice place and I've been inside of it several times to gamble & dine...it's not a Bellagio or Venetian, but certainly as nice as a Treasure Island, Harrahs, Monte Carlo or the Paris. As far as the buffet, yes most Vegas spots have them...but the Aladdin's is frequently ranked as one of the better in Vegas. Check for yourself.

Vegas dollars are trending towards more revenue from non-gambling venues...most of the better buffets are not cheap anymore, some are downright expensive. (including the Aladdin) Not all of them are good either...some are downright awful. (the few cheap ones left) Check on this also...Vegas has changed.

Your Vegas assessments are just as lacking as your political spin. You don't know jack shit about the Aladdin and your buffet knowledge is 15 years old.
