Hi Lizzie, looks like the stock market is somewhere between either proving you right or me right. You have said that this market is a reflection of a horrible economy, whereas, I have said that the market will go nowhere and will even slide into Sept and Oct due to 1) election year, 2) threat of terrorist attacks leading up to election year, and 3) typical seasonal lows in Sept & Oct.

So if I'm right and the economy is ok, then we should see the market continue to drift lower (maybe even to low 9-9.5K) through Sept-Oct, with a very nice bounce from right after the election to Jan, followed by a 2005 that will look alot like 2003 did. If you are right, then 2005 will look alot like this year.

So if you believe what I believe, then hold your cash (as I am doing) until late Oct or until right after the election results are in. Then invest it all. Good luck!
