An exceptional and comprehensive article about John Kerry in this weeks New Yorker.

newyorker.com

Agree or disagree, if you want to know how he thinks, where he is coming from, where he stands, then I highly recommend this article.

Although I don't agree with all his positions, I now feel much more comfortable voting for Kerry, than just voting against Bush.

Overall good article although at times it felt deadly long.

And I agree......Kerry as I saw him before the article was good enough to vote for him and against Bush. The article, however, filled the gaps in the man that I did not understand, and now I can admire and like the guy.

More importantly, it made clear that Kerry is much more presidential than Bush has been or ever would be. And Kerry's life reads more like an American life..........rich but not necessarily born rich; aristocratic but not Protestant; currently Catholic but really Jewish; a reluctant war hero; honest but conflicted; intelligent and hardworking; strong but human in the ways we are all human.

By comparison, there can be no comparison between Bush and Kerry. If all Americans read this article, they would have no choice but to vote for Kerry.

I am psyched. For the first time in 4 years, I feel like we are on the right road. It took a Bush to make us realize all that was wrong with this country and what must be corrected.
