I see. Superficially so.

Finding his attitude non-constructive and counter-productive is not the same as dislike let alone hate. Disagreeing with just about everything he has put forth as President is not the same thing as hate. Hate is visceral. With hate you hate first and evaluate later, if ever. Evaluating and judging his program wrongheaded on its merits is not hate. Wanting the country to go in a different direction is not hate. The degree of difference is more like paradigm than nuance.

Thank you for giving me yet another excellent example of pushing people out of the tent. That's what happens with failing to differentiate or choosing not to differentiate between what I said and the Sontags. It doesn't make sense to attribute Bush-hatred to those who aren't afflicted by it and then complain about the huge number of Bush haters out there.
