LOL. Maybe it is. Or maybe not so much close as complicated.

I've been arguing all along that most of what is criticized as liberal is predominantly what I've been calling "cosmopolitan." I can see why that distinction would be unsatisfying to Luskin. If Okrent ends up making it, I hope he takes the time to put together a really good argument.
