For sure. But he could have said "defeat them" rather than "bring them to justice." Surely Sullivan is aware that "bring to justice" is code for using the justice system as opposed to the right's war model. Perhaps he thinks only die-hard right wingers who would never vote for Kerry under any circumstances would "get" that distinction.

Or perhaps the justice model is becoming acceptable now on the right as are consideration of root causes, non-war approaches, and introspection, etc. per our discussion of yesterday of the right coming around. Surely the justice model is still a deal breaker...
