Your comments on SYMC management and prospects
sound accurate to me - we are holding our small stake
bought at depressed price, e.g., I rate SYMC a long
term hold.

I still don't understand the NT antivirus business - although
it is obvious that whatever the case NT Tools is a dog .

Since - at least according to the manual - it does delete
and repair virsuses on an NT standalone (server AND workstation)
is the situation that:

(a) the manual is lying? If so, I want to know.

(b) the problem with the virus removal and repair is that
it only operates on a workstation basis, and does not
adequately protect an NT net unless a copy is
installed on each server and station. If so, this is
not a great product, but still potentially of value
(it sells for about $45 retail).

Thanks Tim and Keith in advance for a further explanation.
