The above from Okrent's article...if you are offended and befuddled, don't read the paper, particularly since Okrent's main point is that the national NY Times has surprise, surprise, a New York City cultural bias. If that is too much for you to handle stick to the WSJ cultural pages, Washington Times and Newsmax.
