a comment on anindo's investment style. by my reading, i'd say he's been advocating momentum investing on this thread for many mos.; making statements like wait till the market tells you what to do. that can work but it's also just as likely to get you to buy at or near the highs and sell at or near the lows. i know anindo was saying buy when this market was near its highs early in the year. imho, now is the time to go looking for good cos. that have been trashed but have great research, innovation and produts that can do well in the next 6-12 mos. don't buy a full position because the momentum might take them lower but buy enough to make sure you start following them closely. then buy more when the overall market stabilizes and your company starts move higher..
