I was not speaking exact numerical, and you know it. You are the one that needs to cut the crap. And you need to quit referencing numbers from Clinton's administration and get the current numbers for Bush. Other wise 1999 data doesn't say anything about today. Your links to half a decade old stats are useless and tiresome.

As we go forward we need to emphasize education, and if you haven't figured that out then you'd better start learning to speak Chinese.

Also raw dollars does not tell the whole story. The cost of education, and the efficiency of those dollars spent is important. The US numbers likely includes the costs of providing health care to teachers, while the EU countries don't include that number in their stats...because it comes from a separate budget. So your numbers mean just about nothing...and have about the same precision as me mentioning half off the cuff.
