BARNES UPDATE - Since my last post Barnes has declined to the 27 1/2 level after attaining an all-time high in late July. In the past few trading days B has had strong support at the 27 1/4 level, although trading volume has been generally lackluster. My projected earnings estimate for 1997 remains at $2.00-2.10, which translates into a "fair market price" of $30-34 depending on this schitzophrenic thing we call a stock market. MT
