Don, were you suggesting in your August 5th post that when Bob's ABC contract expires at the end of the year that he might not renew and might not even maintain his newsletter for long? This would indeed be tragic for all the people who have listened, learned, and profited greatly from his advice. When aomeone has a profession that he is outstanding at, is assumedly well compensated for and can help huge numbers of appreciative people with, that's a talent few could claim in any profession. I would hope there would be enough golf time during vacations while we listen to mediocre fill-ins and then several years from now when many more of us have reached critical mass, Bob can have a great retirement.
