Clinton was fabulous ..........

.......... "We cannot kill, jail, or occupy all our potential adverseries." That line reminded me of the cover of The Economist magazine earlier this month: "Still taking on the world?" Are we a country alone? It's tragic!

I liked Carter's speech: "We cannot lead if our leaders mislead." Carter is an American icon. I absolutely love the man. Way more than Clinton. I enjoy the beautiful oratory of Clinton. But Carter speaks now on a spiritual level.

I swore off watching political conventions many years ago. But I'm glad I watched tonight. I turned ithe TV on as Gore began his speech and the whole night was just captivating. It was a wonderful, raucous start. I loved it!
