Yes Bush did all that. But he also picked a convenient scapegoat, Saddam, who had lied so many times we didn't believe a word he said anymore. All of Saddam's threats were also taken seriously I guess, even though they turned out to be a bunch of bunk.

I hear the Republicans saying "how dare Michael Moore insinuate that Bush sent our troops to die in Iraq for oil". Duh. Well, why else?
