to put it bluntly, Mr. Pilch....you're out of your mind. Everything you said about leadership is pure crap...tell that garbage to true leaders, talk to military guys, ask generals if they sit on their asses and cower....

You ought to be reasonable for once in your friggin' life. You are making comparisons and holding Bush to expectations that are entirely inappropriate. Surely you have never managed people, let alone an entire organization. Bush is no mere military general. Hell, were that the case then the matter would have been a lot simpler for him. I mean A LOT simpler.

Were Bush just a little general, he might easily have fallen upon his relatively narrow scope of experience and training to do his relatively narrow scope of a job of running his relatively narrow field within the military. Were he a mere general, he would have had no need to consider how best to speak to mom and pop on the street, how best to present himself to the children sitting right in front of him, how best to deploy the military, how best to handle the media, how best to respond to his political opponents, and whether his own person was in imminent danger of assault.

You are clearly ignorant of leading groups of men. Relatively speaking, military generals are just two-bit pieces on the board of which Bush has ultimate control. To compare Bush's considerable responsibilities to those of a narrowly focused military general is just dumb. It is dumber than dumb. It is friggin' retarded.

Bush is not merely Chief Commander of the military. He heads the entire Executive Branch of our government. Moreover, he is also the figurehead of the nation, the person leftists are out to harm and the man to whom average citizens look for comfort during national crisis. No dang military general is under that sort of pressure, and none of them has that responsibility. You're retarded, sir.

Bush did a fantasic job of managing all of the manifold issues and pressures of his job. It was a fantastic job. You're just being unreasonable. You actually believe the crap you've watched on TV.

Bullshit.....words could not describe what was going on....and a normal leader could not be restrained from trying to find out....

In context of his considerable responsibilities and concerns, the words describing 911 were all Bush needed to understand that he ought not have dashed away from those kids! He undoubtedly thought that above all, salvaging continuity was the best immediate course of action- and he was right.

We are talking about a miniscule amount of time here. 7 friggin minutes; and yet that small amount of time is enough to cause you leftists to all have periods. What friggin retards.

and he was doing anything but leading....he may have been leading to you, but don't try and speak for the rest of us.....

Very well then. He was leading to me. And since you obviously haven't a clue about leadership, you can only see ineptitude. You've been watching too much friggin' TV, pal, where in the face of disaster leaders beam shock to the camera as they simultaneously screw the secretary and save the world. It ain' reality. The greatest of leaders, given the same responsibilities and circumstances as the President, would have had to pause and think for at least 7 minutes. It is just insane for you to crap a bowling ball about this.

he displayed nothing but ineptitude and cowardice...

This is lunacy.

As for you....you may consider that Koolaid again....but by all means freeze for seven minutes first... thank goodness you're not one of our leaders....

Hell, Shep. You don't deserve me as one of your leaders. I'd be trying to serve you and you'd be calling me "chimp" and "inept." So I am quite pleased that I do not lead you ungrateful wretches.
