Killing the wrong muslims ----

For some inexplicable reason we are killing the enemies of Al Qaeda in Iraq. Also for some inexplicable reason, a shiite nation was included in the "Axis of Evil," while a wahhabi nation is seen as our friend. The most cursory research makes it quite plain that Al Qaeda is a creature of the wahhabis, and that the wahhabis are a creature of the house of saud.

"The Wahhabi religion was founded by Muhammad Ibn 'Abdi-l-Wahhab (1703-92) in Arabia. He was excommunicated from Islam by the Sunni spiritual leaders of his day.

Muhammad Ibn 'Abdi'-l-Wahhab daughter married Abdul Aziz, son of Muhammad bin Saud, leader of the al-Saud tribe, in 1744. Muhammad bin Saud adopted Wahhabism as the religion for his al-Saud tribe, which lived in the eastern Arabian province of Najd."

"On September 18, 1932, "King" Abdul Aziz bin Saud, proclaimed the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Wahhabism, the religion of the Saud tribe, became the official state religion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

"The most extremist pseudo-Sunni movement today is Wahhabism (also known as Salafism). While many may think that Wahhabi terror is a recent phenomenon that has only targeted non-Muslims, it will surprise many to know that the orthodox Sunni Muslims were the first to be slaughtered in waves of Wahhabi massacres in Arabia hundreds of years ago. One only has to read the historical evolution of Saudi Arabia to know the gruesome details of the tragedy – a tragedy in which thousands of Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims perished at the hands of Wahhabi militants.

The extremist interpretations of Wahhabism, although previously confined to small pockets of people in Arabia, has survived to this day under the protection, finance, and tutelage of the Saudi state religious organs. This has transformed Wahhabism – and related Salafi groups that receive inspiration and support from them – from a regional to a global threat to be reckoned with by the world community. To a Wahhabi-Salafi, all those who differ with them, including Sunni Muslims, Shi’ite Muslims, Christians, and Jews, are infidels who are fair targets."

"Al-Qaida's religious inspiration has its roots in the Wahhabi sect, the creed embraced by the current rulers of Saudi Arabia. The ultimate goal of al-Qaida is to establish a Wahhabi Caliphate across the entire Islamic world, by working with allied Islamic extremist groups to overthrow regimes it deems "non-Islamic" (ie non-Wahhabi Islamist)."

"For more than two centuries, Wahhabism has been Saudi Arabia's dominant faith. It is an austere form of Islam that insists on a literal interpretation of the Koran. Strict Wahhabis believe that all those who don't practice their form of Islam are heathens and enemies. Critics say that Wahhabism's rigidity has led it to misinterpret and distort Islam, pointing to extremists such as Osama bin Laden and the Taliban. Wahhabism's explosive growth began in the 1970s when Saudi charities started funding Wahhabi schools (madrassas) and mosques from Islamabad to Culver City, California. "

"Iran despises the Taliban and Bin Laden: The Taliban has murdered Afghan Shiites and executed Iranian diplomats."

"The Saudis have ended up funding thousands of Islamic schools—madrasahs—that indoctrinated tens of thousands of boys in militant, jihad-centric Islam. (Also, in order to mollify domestic Wahhabi zealots, Saudi Arabia allowed them to effectively take over its universities, which are now churning out extremist clerics by the hundreds.)"

"The ideology of Al Qaeda and other Islamic groups feeds itself on the fracture between legitimate and illegitimate Islam. Wahhabism, which is dominant in Saudi Arabia and inspires a large part of Muslim terrorism, rejects Shiite Islam as heretical and schismatic. And it’s doing all it can to prevent its resurgence in Iraq."
