Peter Griffin wrote the bible of the business, "Theory of Blackjack". For those of us who are into statistics, this book is a work of art. Unfortunately, the challenge in card counting is now one of finding good games (i.e., games that aren't busy in which "penetration" into the shoe is deep enough to allow for frequent good counting situations). Many casinos have now wised up to the point they know how to make the games lousy. That said, I still occasionally find games where I could carry money out by the wheelbarrow if the pit wasn't so paranoid. Gambling does little for me. Gambling with an edge, now that is a lot of fun.
