I personally haven't gotten into Poker yet because frankly I'm kind of intimidated by the complexity of advanced competition and I don't have nerves of steel

Ten,

I strongly recommend you check out paradisepoker.com. I play there a couple hours almost daily. You can start off with free games, then deposit a small amount of money (use neteller.com, it is absolutely safe). The intimidation factor is zero. We play the Mini-tournaments almost exclusively -- you can play one for as little as $5 -- it is like just playing in the final table of a tournament.

Lots of fun. Typical night they have 8K players on at a time. There are other online poker places, but this is the one.
