Ok Jewell - here you go, MY reasons:

John Kerry has actually fought in an elective war on the ground, and having done so, came back against it and tried to end it. He's admitted being decieved by the President, and there's hope he can get us out of the quagmire of Iraq.

Kerry beleives in working with allies, so there's hope he can restore our moral position in the world community - and begin to turn around the unilateral bully image created by the Bush admin.

Kerry beleives in fiscal disipline, and will end the borrow and spend policies of the Bush admin. Even if it costs him programs he would like to see enacted.

Kerry will reshape our military away from spending the bulk of it's money on cold war priorities, and instead to a mobile, flexible force suited for fighting the kind of conflicts we face in the 21st century. Change a lot of Air Force and Navy blue uniforms for Army and Marine green.

Kerry won't start wars that make no sense on trumped up intel.

Kerry will change the tax structure to reward companies for hiring American workers, without protectionist measures.

Kerry will base his policies on sound science, not idealogical issues.

Kerry will be for the citizen, not the corporate donor.

Kerry will be for a woman's right to choose, and for the rights of individuals.

Kerry will not shame us on the world stage.
