Charles, Netscape is NOT available for Solaris X86, supported or not. It is NOT available for download from their web site. Furthermore, the Netscape servers are NOT available for Solaris X86.

I do not know of any Win95 applications that do not run on NT. The only Win95 programs that will not run on NT are in the "utility" category - things like Norton Utilties, virus checkers, some disk utilities, etc. which are available in special versions for NT. Also, DOS applications that access hardware directly will not run on NT.

We probably have quite a group of Solaris users here on this thread - let's put it to a vote: raise your hand if you are using Solaris X86. If so, what are you using it for, and please comment on software availability (particularly if you are also a Sparc user.)
