The total budget in many states has been in decline in the last 4 years. Couple that with a declining percentage in education spending and you have a double whopper.

Can you also tell me what percentage tuition has risen by? How about the percentage increase of costs of education in terms of maintaining a campus and teachers? The rising cost of health insurance which is factored into employee compensation?

When costs to maintain the status quo are increased 50% and funding increases the same amount...you've made no progress.

Access to higher education is increasingly available only to the wealthy. This is not good for a nation that will be increasingly dependent on developing cutting edge technology to maintain growth in our economy.

You DO realize, don't you that you're unsubstantiated and provably incorrect allegation of a decline in funding over the last ten years means that started TWO YEARS after Slick WIllie became Prexy, don't you?

Or are you now going to try to weasel a decade into meaning something other than ten years?
